Chic Professional Alterations Northwich, based near Lidl and B&M, alter everything from wedding dresses and men’s suits as well as carrying out repairs including fixing broken zips on jeans and jackets.

 

The company was set up and is run by husband and wife team Nesrin and Marcus Mentesh, who moved to the area from Stretford in May this year.

 

And they the pair say they are glad they made the move as the business has gone from strength to strength since opening.

“My wife worked as a seamstress in the Trafford centre for eight years, but she always wanted to open up her own business,” said Marcus.

 

“We started doing some research as to where the best place would be, and we found that there was a shortage of shops like this in the area.

​

“We decided to move to Davenham and open up the shop in Northwich, and it looks to have been a wise decision as we’ve gone from strength to strength since then.”

 

The business uses state of the art alteration machines and ironing presses to provide a professional service, and this has led to the pair receiving rave reviews from customers.
